Senior Business Analyst (AI/LLM)

Location: Warrington, United Kingdom; hybrid, with 1 or 2 office days each week

What you will do

• Own and evolve core datasets, data models, and the Semantic Layer using dbt and Databricks.
• Automate recurring reporting and performance analysis, including MAPE/WMAPE deep dives, Forecast Forum packs, and monthly reporting.
• Build analytical models and tools for scenario planning, S&OP, production scheduling, and planning optimisation.
• Lead root-cause investigations into forecast inaccuracies, quantify financial impact, and recommend corrective actions.
• Run cross-functional Forecast Forum sessions and coordinate actions across D&SP, Data Science, Material Planning, and Menu Planning.
• Partner with Data Science and engineering teams on forecast improvements, ad-hoc planning tools, and AI/LLM-enabled analysis.

Requirements

• Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks or dbt.
• Experience designing or working with Semantic Layers and data models.
• Basic knowledge of Python or Apps Script for automation and analytical tools.
• Strong quantitative reasoning, including forecast error metrics, scenario modelling, and cost-benefit analysis.
• Knowledge of AI and LLM concepts and their application to reporting and analysis.
• Experience translating business needs into technical requirements and communicating findings to senior stakeholders.
