Senior Site Quality Engineer (Robotics)

Location: USA remote and field-based, based in the Northeast; approximately 75% of the time is spent at customer construction and installation sites. Regular travel of up to 75% is required, with easy access to a major airport.

Salary: $101,000–$138,600 base pay, plus medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), PTO, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Lead quality activities at customer installation sites and identify, communicate, and resolve quality issues.
• Oversee up to three installation sites simultaneously and train local QC resources.
• Monitor installation partners, suppliers, and contractors against quality processes and critical-to-quality requirements.
• Plan and manage quality activities with suppliers and customer sites to prevent or minimize defects.
• Use 8D corrective action, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and Lean methods to drive corrective, preventive, and process improvements.
• Support material disposition and qualification of new materials and processes while mentoring site quality personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of quality engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing industry.
• Experience with FMEA, DOE, MSA, GR&R, 8D, control plans, PPAP, DFMEA, PFMEA, reliability methods, and statistical analysis.
• Experience working with engineering, quality, development engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with statistical process control tools such as SAA, Minitab, JMP, and MATLAB, plus advanced Excel skills.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to travel by car and air to customer locations, and ability to work at construction sites with required PPE and safety protocols.
