Physical AI Solutions Architect (Robotics)

Location: United States — Hillsboro, Oregon; additional locations in Phoenix, Arizona; Folsom and Santa Clara, California. Hybrid work model with time split between the assigned Intel site and off-site.

Annual salary: $255,850–$361,200 USD.

What you will do

• Architect and deploy end-to-end Physical AI and robotics solutions for enterprise customers across manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, retail, healthcare, and other industries.
• Guide customers through data collection, simulation, model development, optimization, robotic deployment, and fleet-scale operations.
• Integrate robotics workloads with enterprise IT, OT, edge, and cloud infrastructure.
• Partner with cloud providers, robot OEMs, AI model providers, systems integrators, and software ecosystem partners.
• Lead proofs of concept, technical evaluations, benchmarking, and solution validation.
• Provide customer and market feedback to influence product roadmaps, investments, and go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, AI, or a related field, with 12+ years of experience; equivalent requirements include 8+ years with a master’s degree or 6+ years with a PhD.
• Experience deploying end-to-end robotics or Physical AI solutions in enterprise environments from development through production.
• Expertise in AI systems architecture, deep learning models, and algorithm optimization for CPUs and GPUs.
• Understanding of data management, simulation and digital twins, AI/ML training and optimization, robotic platform deployment, and fleet management.
• Experience integrating AI and robotics workloads with enterprise IT, OT, edge, and cloud infrastructure, plus hands-on experience with modern AI frameworks and cloud platforms.
• Strong customer-facing communication and technical leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with humanoid, industrial, warehouse, mobile, or service robotics.
• Familiarity with ROS/ROS2, Isaac Sim, Gazebo, MuJoCo, Webots, or similar simulation platforms.
• Experience with vision-language-action models, reinforcement learning, imitation learning, and sim-to-real workflows.
• Experience with hyperscalers, systems integrators, and large enterprise customers.
• Industry relationships across the robotics, cloud, or AI ecosystem.
