What you will do

• Support the design and BIM coordination of electrical power systems for industrial and mission-critical facilities.
• Perform load calculations, circuit analysis, panel schedules, and equipment layouts under senior engineering guidance.
• Assist with medium-voltage distribution networks, substations, backup systems, and single-line diagrams.
• Contribute to lighting design, grounding, protective device coordination, specifications, and construction drawings.
• Build and coordinate Revit and AutoCAD models with mechanical and structural disciplines.
• Support workflow automation and data analytics using Dynamo, Grasshopper, Python, or C# while communicating across multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field, completed recently or expected soon.
• Coursework in electrical power systems, machines, circuits, and building services engineering.
• Familiarity with BIM modeling software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
• Understanding of medium-voltage distribution, load analysis, and electrical design fundamentals.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and collaborate across disciplines.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.

Nice to have

• Internship experience at an engineering or AEC firm, particularly on industrial or power-intensive facilities.
• Knowledge of lighting and energy modeling tools such as Dialux or IES-VE.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, and IEEE standards, power system studies, short-circuit and arc-flash analysis, or relay protection.
• Experience with renewable integration, generator systems, UPS, battery energy storage, or data center electrical topologies.
• Interest or experience in AI design tools, visual programming, coding, or open-source projects.
