What you will do

• Produce detailed electrical and controls models and drawings for factory fabrication, including panels, raceway, cable schedules, and terminations.
• Design installation-level packages that allow electricians to build without additional engineering support.
• Standardize design systems, symbol libraries, and templates to increase efficiency for future units.
• Manage rapid engineering changes across in-flight units while maintaining strict configuration control.
• Ensure model cleanliness and resolve drawing issues at the source by updating standards and templates.

Requirements

• Experience detailing electrical or controls packages for fabrication, modular assemblies, panel shops, or industrial automation.
• Proficiency in electrical CAD platforms with a focus on wiring diagrams and cable schedules.
• Deep understanding of installation requirements, including bend radii, terminations, and electrical clearances.
• Ability to maintain library discipline and curate symbol libraries and templates.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to work on-site in Austin, New York, San Francisco, or Seattle.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
• BIM modeling experience (Revit, Plant 3D).
• Background in panel and wiring diagram standards and BIM coordination.
