Behavioral Health Department Manager (Pediatric Mental Health)

Location: Remote, Pennsylvania; current PA, NJ, VA or MD license required

Salary: $95,000–$110,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead behavioral health clinical operations and monitor team performance, quality standards, and patient outcomes.
• Supervise, mentor, onboard, and train therapists on clinical models, evidence-based practices, and documentation standards.
• Provide 20 hours of direct clinical care per week, including psychotherapy, biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessments, counseling, and individualized treatment.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and address patient and family concerns through direct outreach and clinician coaching.
• Collaborate with PMHNPs, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists on integrated treatment plans.
• Build pediatric practice referral partnerships and support recruitment, retention, and team development.

Requirements

• Current PA, NJ, VA or MD license as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD.
• At least 3 years of experience as a licensed therapist.
• Direct psychotherapy experience with children and/or adolescents.
• Ability to provide developmentally and neurodiversity-informed care.
• Strong clinical leadership, therapist supervision, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Availability for evenings and weekends to support clinical and operational needs.

Nice to have

• Ability to supervise pre-licensed therapists.
