HR Business Analyst - Systems and Processes (Workday)

Location: Cologne, Germany; work from home may be arranged individually, including up to 20 days per year anywhere in the EU, where office presence is not required.

What you will do

• Partner with HR teams to facilitate workshops, gather and challenge requirements, and translate them into functional requirements for Workday modules, data, and analytics.
• Analyze existing HR processes and identify opportunities to improve them using Workday and other systems.
• Coordinate process improvement initiatives from analysis through implementation across HR, IT, and other stakeholders.
• Document HR processes according to ISO standards and maintain a central HR process repository with Quality Management.
• Support internal and external ISO audits and manage the HR Internal Control Framework, including follow-up on findings and requirements.
• Support the HR roadmap, governance, risk, and reporting activities.

Requirements

• Collaborative, stakeholder-focused approach with the ability to work across HR, IT, Quality Management, and Audit.
• Ability to coordinate process optimization initiatives and align stakeholders around a shared roadmap.
• Business understanding combined with technical affinity for Workday and related systems.
• Strong focus on quality, governance, compliance, ISO standards, and Internal Control Frameworks.
• Clear communication skills and confidence working in a cross-functional, international environment.
