Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack - Applications

Salary: $169,000–$196,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain performant, scalable full-stack applications.
• Build visual tools that help users develop end-to-end AI applications and support data science workflows.
• Collaborate with Product Management, User Interaction Designers, and front-end and back-end engineers.
• Lead technical design discussions covering architecture, UI components, UX, integrations, and testing.
• Resolve bugs, improve products and technologies, manage project deliverables, and mentor junior engineers.
• Contribute to team growth and cultivate innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with JavaScript, Java, or another object-oriented language.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and web application development.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React, Redux, Vue, Backbone, or Angular.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and availability to work onsite in Redwood City.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in engineering, sciences, or a related field.
• Experience with Git, Agile development, distributed systems, test-driven development, SQL and NoSQL databases, or performance optimization tools.
• Experience leading engineering teams and projects or building scalable web applications.
