HSI Engineer III (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Support the Axiom Human Systems Integration process and development of Master Task Analyses.
• Collaborate with responsible engineers, operations, medical operations, safety, scientists, physicians, and crewmembers.
• Develop test plans, perform HSI analyses, and support preparation of related reports.
• Conduct user research, task analysis, usability testing, test readiness activities, and integration testing.
• Communicate project progress, status, and potential issues to stakeholders and leadership.
• Implement and maintain agile project management methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, or Human Systems Integration.
• At least 4 years of experience in HSI, human factors, or user-centered design.
• Proficiency in process mapping and documentation.
• Experience and knowledge of the NASA HSI process.
• Strong organization, problem-solving, collaboration, technical rigor, and execution skills.
• Additional export-control screening may be required for access to NASA-regulated, ITAR, or EAR-controlled technical data; meeting eligibility requirements is a condition of employment.
