  • Knowledge of nuclear thermal-hydraulics, fuel performance, reactor dynamics, accident source terms, and transient phenomena.
  • Significant experience with transient and accident analysis codes.
  • Familiarity with nuclear design, regulatory requirements, RG 1.233, EMDAP, RG 1.203, Appendix B to 10 CFR 50, and ASME NQA-1.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, modeling, reporting, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills.
  • Applicants are subject to U.S. Government export-control review; foreign-national eligibility may depend on obtaining export authorization.

Nice to have

  • Experience interacting directly with the U.S. NRC on design and analysis methodology applications and licensing topical reports.
  • Experience with source-term methods, radiological consequence codes, or SFR safety methods.
  • Experience with other reactor designs and demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical work.

Culture & Benefits

  • Full-time position with comprehensive medical, vision, dental, life, disability, and wellness benefits.
  • 401(k) plan and eligibility for discretionary short-term incentive payments.
