Project Manager, Layout Engineering (Eastern) (Robotics)

Location: USA remote, field-based; candidates must be located in the Western or Central time zone. Travel to regional customer sites is required, with up to 50–60% travel.

Salary: $101,000–$138,600 base salary annually, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Plan, manage, execute, accept, and support customer-facing warehouse automation projects.
• Develop project charters, baseline metrics, data collection plans, proof-of-concepts, and KPIs covering scope, schedule, cost, delivery, service, and quality.
• Lead cross-functional meetings and communicate project progress, risks, issues, and impact to stakeholders and leadership.
• Identify process automation, scalability, and efficiency opportunities within installation operations.
• Coordinate engineering changes across installation sites, including retroactive implementation at existing sites.
• Support installation teams by troubleshooting design and material delivery issues and sharing process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in industrial or robotic automation installation projects.
• Ability to deliver projects within scope, schedule, and budget and implement change initiatives with minimal disruption.
• Strong problem-solving, data analysis, negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Experience using business intelligence tools to develop project metrics.
• Ability to travel to customer sites and hold a valid driver’s license; site work requires PPE and physical activities including climbing, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen certification.
• Working knowledge of Jira, Smartsheet, and SAP.
