Power Development Intern (RRAM)

What you will do

• Characterize RRAM devices and perform electrical testing to evaluate memory-cell behavior, switching characteristics, and reliability.
• Analyze electrical test data from RRAM cells and arrays, including forming, set/reset, resistance windows, leakage, cycling, retention, and distribution trends.
• Support RRAM test methodologies, data-analysis flows, statistical summaries, and design-of-experiment decisions.
• Correlate process, device, and electrical data during failure analysis and root-cause investigations.
• Evaluate RRAM stack and process options and propose improvements for performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Follow Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of semiconductors and device physics.
• Good academic standing.
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
• Available for a 16–24 week credit-bearing internship commencing January 2027.

Nice to have

• Prior related internship or co-op experience.
• Leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, or competitions.
• Project management skills and the ability to innovate, execute solutions, and navigate ambiguity.
• Interest in semiconductor devices, CMOS technology, non-volatile memory, RRAM, wafer fabrication, and device characterization.
• Data analysis and programming experience with Python, MATLAB, JMP, Excel, or another data-analysis tool.
