Global Events Financial Controller (Fintech)

Building blockchain-based financial products, reserve-backed tokens, digital asset services, energy solutions, AI and peer-to-peer technology, and digital education products.

What you will do

• Serve as the financial lead for the full lifecycle of international events.
• Consolidate vendor quotations and prepare event budgets, tracking, and reports.
• Provide real-time financial visibility to the Events Team.
• Coordinate contract signatures, invoicing, and payment processes.
• Perform multi-currency and multi-company reconciliations.
• Prepare post-event financial reports and yearly budget reconciliations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in the Events, Travel, or Hospitality industry.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, plus PowerPoint proficiency.
• Full professional or native proficiency in English and Spanish.
• High attention to detail, strong vendor negotiation skills, and excellent organization.
• Availability to travel when required.
