Production Embedded & Partner Integration Engineer (C/C++)

Location: On-site in Shenzhen, China; candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to China

What you will do

• Own firmware bring-up, flashing, and provisioning at the production line.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing test software, calibration stations, instrumentation, and fixtures.
• Lead embedded technical integration with contract manufacturers and component suppliers.
• Debug production yield, calibration, and intermittent issues at manufacturing volume.
• Root-cause embedded issues in production and returned units, feeding findings back to the Canada stack owner.
• Implement and harden the embedded test strategy defined in Canada.

Requirements

• 7+ years of embedded systems experience, including hands-on production-line work.
• Strong C/C++, driver development, and low-level hardware debugging skills.
• Experience with factory bring-up, flashing, provisioning, and manufacturing test software.
• Experience acting as the technical embedded interface for contract manufacturers and suppliers.
• Camera or sensor calibration and test-station experience.
• Working English required; Mandarin strongly preferred for contract manufacturer and supplier communication.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as an on-site embedded engineer during a consumer hardware ramp.
• Experience in a China hardware-execution organization such as DJI or Insta360.
