Production Technician (Electronics)

Location: Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada; 100% onsite. Monday through Friday, with core business hours from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Overtime may be required during peak demand.

What you will do

• Assemble products and subassemblies using hand and benchtop tools according to build instructions.
• Perform manual product testing, configuration, software loading, and temperature testing.
• Review test data and verify product compliance with defined test instructions.
• Diagnose and repair products or subassemblies that fail testing.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to reduce waste and improve production efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Collaborate in person with Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams.

Requirements

• Experience with electronics assembly or installation, including hardware assembly and software loading.
• Experience using various test equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Very good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada.

Nice to have

• Electronic or Computer Engineering Technician/Technologist diploma or equivalent.
• Hand soldering, calibration, firmware, circuit troubleshooting, and systems maintenance experience.
