Production Technician (Electronics)

Location: Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada; 100% onsite. Monday through Friday with core business hours from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM; overtime may be required during peak demand. Travel requirement: 0%.

What you will do

• Assemble products and subassemblies using hand and benchtop tools according to build instructions.
• Test products through manual testing, configuration, software loading, temperature testing, and test-data review.
• Diagnose and repair products or subassemblies that fail testing.
• Work across production processes to build products efficiently for customers.
• Identify ways to reduce waste, improve efficiency, lower costs, and increase customer value.
• Collaborate with Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams during in-person production activities.

Requirements

• Experience with electronics assembly and installation, including hardware assembly and software loading.
• Experience using various test equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Electronic or Computer Engineering Technician/Technologist diploma or equivalent experience; relevant practical experience is valued most.

Nice to have

• Electronic or Computer Engineering Technician/Technologist diploma.
• Experience with electro-mechanical assembly, firmware, hand soldering, calibration, or systems maintenance.
