Customer Engagement Manager (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; On-site

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 per year, plus equity and bonus

What you will do

• Own strategic relationships with key frontier AI lab customers and drive retention, expansion, and long-term partnerships.
• Identify and close upsell, cross-sell, and new use-case opportunities across existing accounts.
• Lead executive business reviews, strategic check-ins, and commercial negotiations, including master services agreements.
• Partner with operations, product, and engineering to represent customer needs and influence the product roadmap.
• Build account management, customer health, and expansion playbooks from the ground up.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives and help define customer engagement practices as the company scales.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a relevant role, such as account management at a data company or engagement management in another industry.
• High agency, drive, and strong work ethic, with the ability to execute in ambiguous situations with minimal direction.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with senior AI researchers and technology industry executives.
• Competitive nature and demonstrated past success.
