Salary: $141,806.80–$212,710.20 USD annual base pay

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end development and integration of exterior accessories and related subsystems.
• Develop design and integration plans, timelines, and deliverables aligned with program milestones.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure system compatibility and performance.
• Identify and mitigate system risks through problem-solving and testing strategies.
• Oversee system-level validation and verification activities against regulatory and internal standards.
• Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Technical expertise in exterior components and related vehicle systems.
• 10+ years of design and release experience.
• Knowledge of vehicle development processes, technical target setting, feasibility assessment, and statistically confident validation.
• Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R, GD&T, Design for Manufacturing, Lean, and related engineering toolchains.
• Strong communication, team-building, time-management, relationship-building, and technical leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with environmental testing and vehicle system integration.
• Ability and desire to build a new team.
