Sr IT Project Manager - Site Builds

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must be eligible to work in the United States and reside in a state where MKS is registered to do business. Travel of up to 20% may be required. Relocation benefits are not available, and visa sponsorship is not provided.

Salary: $88,000–$147,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead IT delivery for new site builds, site modifications, office expansions, relocations, and retrofit projects.
• Develop project plans, schedules, resource plans, dependency trackers, and readiness checkpoints for network, server room, wireless, UCaaS, cabling, telecom, collaboration, and end-user compute workstreams.
• Coordinate Infrastructure, Security, End User Services, Facilities, Construction, Procurement, PMO, business stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, purchase orders, vendor quotes, statements of work, materials, installation activities, and scope, schedule, and cost performance.
• Track risks, issues, assumptions, decisions, dependencies, and changes while driving mitigation plans.
• Coordinate cutover, hypercare, support handoff, documentation, service transition, post-project reviews, and lessons learned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years of project management experience in IT infrastructure, site deployment, workplace technology, or related technology programs.
• Experience with network and wireless deployments, datacenter or server room readiness, MDF/IDF, UCaaS, voice, collaboration, structured cabling, telecom, or end-user technology deployments.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with complex schedules, dependencies, vendors, and stakeholder groups.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, risk and issue management, change control, governance, and stakeholder communication.
• Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, ServiceNow, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, or similar platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience with manufacturing, warehouse, laboratory, office, or multi-use facility environments.
• Experience with global or multi-site IT deployment programs and geographically distributed teams.
• Knowledge of MDF/IDF design, structured cabling, rack and stack planning, telecom room readiness, enterprise networking, security dependencies, and operational handoff.
• PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, ITIL Foundation, Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery experience.
