Senior Manager Construction, Self Perform Electrical

What you will do

• Lead electrical and mechanical self-perform construction teams across multiple Nevada projects.
• Manage schedules, budgets, staffing, equipment resources, procurement, and project cash management.
• Coordinate utility, structural, vendor-tool, permanent-equipment, and construction-equipment installations.
• Review designs and specifications, resolve constructability and contract conflicts, and address daily construction issues.
• Coordinate plant modifications and scope additions under shutdown schedules while meeting safety, production, and operational milestones.
• Lead project closeout, contract documentation, dispute resolution support, and project debriefs.

Requirements

• 20+ years of construction supervision experience and 15+ years managing field personnel.
• 10+ years of electrical construction experience as both a tradesperson and supervisor.
• Experience managing superintendents and field crews across electrical and mechanical scopes, including process piping.
• Experience with industrial and commercial MEP systems and plant shutdown scheduling.
• Advanced knowledge of Procore and Microsoft Office, including Excel; knowledge of Primavera P6 or comparable scheduling software.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to work weekends, nights, or on call, and ability to lift and carry heavy objects and climb stairs.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Experience identifying project risks, coaching personnel, delegating work, and presenting to executive or public audiences.
