Senior Staff Test Development Engineer

Location: Onsite at the Penang SDSM Office in Batu Kawan, Malaysia

What you will do

• Develop and implement advanced test strategies for complex module-level testing.
• Lead test development engineers through technical guidance, mentoring, and best-practice development.
• Design and develop test automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize test processes and product quality.
• Analyze test results, debug test programs, and identify correlations between process weaknesses and results.
• Drive continuous improvement and represent test development in technical decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in test development engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of test development methodologies, industry standards, and best practices.
• Expertise in Java and C++, with the ability to code in C, C++, C#, or Java.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, data analysis, and debugging test programs.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with agile development methodologies.
