Reconciliation Analyst (Finance)

What you will do

• Compare investment portfolio data from external sources with data in the reconciliation system.
• Review and update reporting data accurately while meeting daily deadlines.
• Investigate reconciliation issues, solve problems, and escalate questions to mentors and department experts when needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with data providers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide feedback to product teams on internal projects and communicate timely updates on identified issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a finance-related or analytical field.
• 1+ year of directly applicable experience in reconciliation, accounting, or finance.
• Basic understanding of investment, financial, accounting, and standard security concepts.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables, or VBA.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Finance or accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS.
• Experience with securities or financial markets.
