Platform Accounting Analyst (Crypto)

Location: Remote within the United States, with work required during US timezones from Pacific to Eastern

Salary: $47.3K–$94.6K annual base salary, excluding bonus, equity, wellness allowance, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Support month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Reconcile fiat and digital asset positions across banks, crypto wallets, and the exchange platform.
• Research discrepancies, identify trends and issues, and communicate findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Support financial and regulatory reporting requests, internal audits, and external audits.
• Maintain and improve daily, monthly, and yearly reconciliation processes, controls, documentation, and transparency.
• Contribute to automation projects and support accounting for new products and global entities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
• 2+ years of accounting or audit experience at a Big Four or national accounting firm.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and experience with SOX.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and H/VLOOKUP.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-paced environment while collaborating across the organization.
• Ability to live and work within US timezones from Pacific to Eastern.

Nice to have

• CPA in good standing.
• Experience in crypto, financial services, fintech, broker-dealer, banking, or exchange environments.
• Cryptocurrency knowledge, SQL experience, and experience with high-volume transactions.
• Experience using NetSuite.
