Senior Fullstack Engineer (L3) - Trading

What you will do

• Own the architecture of client-facing trade flows covering quote and pricing surfaces, trade initiation, and status and settlement tracking across GUI, API, and conversational AI.
• Design frontend state management, data-fetching patterns, exception handling, retries, and client-server synchronization.
• Improve frontend rendering efficiency, load times, reliability, and stability under frequent updates and peak usage.
• Build and extend REST APIs, PostgreSQL schemas, and queries to deliver features end-to-end across the frontend and backend.
• Instrument client flows for error rates, completion, and latency, and turn incidents and post-mortems into durable fixes.
• Partner with Product, Design, Operations, and backend engineering while mentoring L1/L2 engineers and driving technical debt to closure.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience building production web applications, primarily on the frontend.
• Professional trading background with experience building client-facing systems on a live trade or order path at a trading company, exchange, or brokerage.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and React, with strong command of Redux or equivalent state management.
• Experience with server-side rendering, code splitting, frontend architecture, asynchronous systems, automated frontend testing, and production performance optimization.
• Working backend proficiency with CRUD and REST APIs, PostgreSQL schemas and queries, and a server runtime such as Next.js or Hono.
• Strong object-oriented programming and low-level design skills, high agency, clear written communication, data-driven decision-making, and practical use of AI coding tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with real-time financial surfaces such as live pricing, order books, or streaming quote updates.
• Experience with financial dashboards, reconciliation views, transaction history, FX, multi-currency systems, or cross-border payments.
• Experience with frontend testing, observability, monitoring, design systems, or shared component libraries.
