Planning Engineer (Construction)

Location: On-site in Maadi, Cairo Governorate, Egypt

What you will do

• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Create work breakdown structures, project timelines, milestones, and critical path plans.
• Monitor progress against baseline schedules and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
• Coordinate with site engineering, procurement, design, and project management teams.
• Identify potential delays and propose recovery plans.
• Support resource planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Approximately 2–5 years of planning experience in construction, fit-out, finishing, or real estate projects.
• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of project scheduling techniques, the Critical Path Method, and earned value concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have

• AutoCAD knowledge.
• Fluent English.
