What you will do

• Conduct market research and competitive landscape analysis across target sectors, geographies, and customer segments.
• Build and maintain financial models covering revenue and cost forecasts, cash flow, pricing, ROI, IRR, NPV, scenarios, and sensitivities.
• Develop opportunity theses and business cases for market entry, partnership structures, revenue-sharing, cost-sharing, and commercial pursuits.
• Prepare market intelligence summaries, briefing materials, and data-driven recommendations for leadership.
• Analyze pipeline metrics, win/loss trends, and deal economics to improve pursuit quality.
• Support due diligence on prospective partners, customers, and market opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering, science, or a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial analysis, market research, corporate development, management consulting, or investment analysis.
• Strong financial modeling and decision analysis skills, including scenario analysis, pricing models, and sensitivity analysis.
• Ability to synthesize complex technical and market information into concise recommendations for senior leadership.
• Proficiency with CRM, data visualization, financial modeling, and business intelligence tools.
• Access to export-controlled technical data may require U.S. export control screening under NASA regulations, ITAR, or EAR; meeting eligibility requirements is a condition of employment.

Nice to have

• MBA, CFA, relevant graduate degree, or comparable certification of analytical capability.
• Experience in aerospace and defense, complex B2B or B2G environments, international business development, capture, proposals, partner management, or financial and technical analysis.
• Familiarity with government, the commercial space ecosystem, New Space, low-Earth-orbit infrastructure, and microgravity markets.
