Employment Counsel

Location: New York; must be authorized to work in the United States. The role follows a 7.5-hour business workday, with frequent extended evening and late-night hours required for events.

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 annual base salary.

What you will do

• Advise executive leadership and the People Experience team on global employment law strategy, risk management, and workforce matters.
• Lead employment-related legal matters across multiple jurisdictions and oversee outside counsel.
• Partner with People Experience, Compliance, and Corporate Communications on policies, workforce strategy, crisis response, and change management.
• Manage employment litigation, investigations, and disputes.
• Develop and maintain global employment policies aligned with legal, business, and cultural priorities.
• Advise on employment agreements, executive compensation, benefits, terminations, restructurings, and M&A-related employment matters.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• At least 10 years of employment law experience, including senior in-house and/or top-tier law firm experience.
• Deep expertise in U.S. employment law and strong familiarity with international labor frameworks.
• Experience advising executive-level stakeholders with sound judgment and commercial perspective.
• Ability to educate and train leaders and employees on complex legal topics.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.
