Business Analytics QA Manager

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end QA function for business analytics extracts, reports, dashboards, and other data deliverables.
• Define and improve QA strategies, governance standards, test plans, sign-off criteria, checklists, and documentation.
• Oversee SQL-based validation and data quality testing for completeness, accuracy, consistency, uniqueness, and logic integrity.
• Lead the QA team by assigning work, monitoring progress, reviewing outputs, removing blockers, and supporting capability development.
• Coordinate with Data Analysts, DAISMs, the Project Management Office, business stakeholders, governance teams, requestors, and external partners.
• Manage defects, retesting, release-readiness assessments, QA metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives before UAT, FRA, or production deployment.

Requirements

• Strong experience defining and governing QA strategies, test plans, methodologies, acceptance criteria, and sign-off standards.
• Deep knowledge of QA concepts, testing disciplines, control frameworks, and scalable QA processes.
• Strong understanding of analytics, data warehousing, and data-flow dependencies across source, transformation, and output layers.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills for defect investigation, root-cause analysis, remediation validation, and issue resolution.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• People leadership experience, including mentoring, performance guidance, knowledge management, succession planning, and capacity planning.
