Analyst, QA Analyst (FinTech)

Location: Onsite office role in Mumbai, India

What you will do

• Design, maintain, and execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, canary, API, and performance test suites.
• Validate regulatory reporting and complex financial workflows before external delivery.
• Submit, investigate, retest, and verify defects, including root cause analysis and regression prevention.
• Work with software developers, analysts, and product managers to define test coverage and resolve defects.
• Engineer tools to simulate market events and improve the scalability and efficiency of functional testing.
• Apply and advocate for QA best practices across the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional software testing and functional testing experience.
• Proficiency in at least one of Java, TypeScript, or VBScript for test automation scripting and framework maintenance.
• Experience with an automation tool such as Selenium, Playwright, or UFT and frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, POM, or Hybrid.
• Experience with test management tools such as ALM, TestRail, Xray, Zephyr, or Jira.
• Knowledge of equity, bond, fixed-income investments, securities or financial markets, and SQL query writing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• FinTech, BFSI, or other regulated and mission-critical domain experience.
• Python or JavaScript knowledge and experience building API, integration, or end-to-end automated tests.
• Exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Gradle, Maven, and SQL-based test data design and validation.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and Pivot Tables.
