TL;DR
QA Engineer (Web, REST API, and Mobile Testing): Developing and executing comprehensive manual and automated test plans for web, API, and mobile applications with an accent on functional, non-functional, regression, and data validation testing. Focus on expanding test automation, validating SQL data, testing APIs and web protocols, and tracking defects through agile release cycles.
Location: Hybrid in Maadi, Cairo, Egypt

What you will do
- Develop and execute structured test plans and comprehensive test cases.
- Perform manual and automated functional and non-functional testing for web, REST API, and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with Development, Product, and Design teams in an agile environment.
- Contribute to planning meetings, review user stories, define acceptance criteria, and prepare test cases.
- Assess release quality and readiness, perform regression testing, and track resolved defects.
- Identify automation opportunities and gradually integrate automated tests with manual testing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with agile ceremonies, test plans, test cases, bug reports, and error troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in testing mobile web applications and mobile apps.
- Experience writing, troubleshooting, and validating data with SQL databases.
- Experience with API testing, web protocols, data formats, and scripting or mainstream programming languages such as JavaScript or Java.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Playwright, Appium, or REST Assured.
- Experience with performance or security testing.
