Active Alignment Process Engineer (Photonics)

Location: Onsite at the fabrication facility in Bulim Square, Chon Buri, Thailand

What you will do

• Lead and optimize optical active alignment processes for transceiver production.
• Set up, operate, maintain, control, and qualify active alignment equipment.
• Develop, implement, and optimize alignment algorithms.
• Manage equipment buyoff and qualification activities, including epoxy dispensing and curing processes.
• Design and refine alignment fixtures and troubleshoot equipment, process, and fixture issues.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and engineering teams to improve production yield and quality.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with optical active alignment for transceivers or related photonic devices.
• Experience with active alignment processes, equipment control, equipment buyoff, and equipment qualification.
• Knowledge of epoxy dispensing and curing methods.
• Experience developing or optimizing alignment algorithms and designing fixtures for alignment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, physics, optics, or a related field preferred.
