Audit Associate (Non-profit)

Location: San Antonio, TX; on-site. Some travel may be required.

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise various phases of audit engagements.
• Draft financial statements, including footnote disclosures.
• Communicate clearly with clients about engagement expectations and relevant accounting, financial, and regulatory developments.
• Work with the team to design audit procedures using audit technology and innovation tools.
• Research accounting and auditing matters and document conclusions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• 1–3 years of audit experience, including nonprofit-sector and single-audit experience.
• Well-rounded knowledge of GAAP standards.
• Some travel may be required.

Nice to have

• Public accounting experience.
