Experienced Audit Associate (Nonprofit)

hirify.globalss="what-you-will-do">What you will do

• Perform audit and accounting procedures addressing industry-specific issues for nonprofit clients.
• Audit complex areas and transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Schedule, delegate, and review staff work.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff.
• Keep the Manager or Principal informed about engagement status and issues.
• Communicate proactively with clients, gather information, and support timely engagement wrap-up.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• At least 1 year of relevant professional services experience is required; completed internships may qualify as related experience.
• Ability to travel to client sites, including infrequent overnight travel when required.
