Software Engineer - Backend (AI)

What you will do

• Architect autonomous systems with feedback loops for self-correction, validation, and continuous improvement.
• Build infrastructure for millions of applications and real-time workloads, addressing latency, concurrency, and reliability.
• Establish standards for correctness, observability, and fault tolerance across backend, infrastructure, and AI layers.
• Collaborate with AI/ML, infrastructure, and product teams on systems spanning model interaction layers and distributed execution engines.
• Debug non-deterministic systems and design for complex, unenumerated edge cases.
• Mentor engineers and influence technical culture and architecture across teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building large-scale backend or distributed systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Go.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, parallelism, and system design under scale and failure.
• Experience owning architecture for critical production systems.
• Ability to make system trade-offs, simplify complex systems, and influence engineering direction across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure or LLM-based systems.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, GCP, Azure, event-driven systems, or data infrastructure.
