Medical Assistant (Twin Cities)

Location: Onsite across multiple Twin Cities clinic locations: Highland Park, Crystal, Lyndale/South Minneapolis, Rosedale, and Eagan

Salary: $25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience

What you will do

• Provide clinical, clerical, and technical support across multiple clinics and adapt to different workflows.
• Perform venipuncture, collect and process specimens, conduct point-of-care testing, and complete lab audits and billing verification.
• Room patients, record vital signs, update electronic medical records, and support providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Administer intramuscular injections and medications as ordered, perform diagnostic testing such as EKGs, and manage prescription refills.
• Schedule appointments, support portal setup and patient education, and contribute to chronic disease management and follow-up outreach.
• Maintain lab equipment and medical supplies, clean examination rooms, and follow applicable safety and compliance procedures.

Requirements

• Active Medical Assistant certification or diploma.
• Required phlebotomy training and ability to perform venipuncture.
• Eligibility to work in the United States with proof of citizenship or permanent residency.
• Ability to travel between the listed clinic locations as needed.
• Professionalism, confidentiality, strong organization, and attention to detail.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
