What you will do
- Plan, coordinate, and execute upgrades, patches, and new installations of financial software in client environments.
- Automate deployment processes and build CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Develop installation guides, runbooks, and troubleshooting documentation.
- Collaborate with development, QA, support, clients, and internal stakeholders to resolve deployment issues.
- Perform post-deployment validation, testing, and technical troubleshooting.
- Support weekend upgrade work, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventative measures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in software deployment, release engineering, or DevOps.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity, or Octopus Deploy.
- Understanding of Windows and Linux Server operating systems, database technologies, network configurations, and infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
