AWS Infrastructure Administrator (AWS)

Location: United States; hiring anywhere within the US, with Western locations preferred. Working shift: 12–8 pm EST.

Salary: $66,700–$123,900 per year.

What you will do

• Administer, maintain, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for availability, performance, reliability, and security.
• Provision and manage EC2, S3, RDS, FSx, EBS, IAM, Route 53, CloudWatch, Systems Manager, and related AWS services.
• Support VPCs, subnets, NAT Gateways, VPNs, Direct Connect, security groups, network ACLs, and load balancers.
• Monitor environments, respond to alerts, troubleshoot production incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Manage patching, backups, disaster recovery support, compliance activities, documentation, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams on deployments, automation, and on-call operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including at least 3 years administering AWS environments.
• Strong experience with AWS core services, networking, AWS Organizations, and multi-account environments.
• Working knowledge of Terraform and/or CloudFormation, plus AWS monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Strong operations, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, security, identity management, and compliance skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification.
• Automation experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring tools, cloud cost management, and FinOps.
• Knowledge of Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale AWS production environments.
