Social Media Executive (Fintech)

Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia; hybrid workplace

A fintech product company providing a travel money card and related payment experiences for travellers in Australia.

What you will do

• Ideate, film, edit, and publish short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other social channels.
• Create travel hacks, budgeting tips, card demonstrations, cultural content, and real traveller use cases.
• Develop scripts, hooks, captions, hashtags, thumbnails, subtitles, overlays, and lightweight visual assets.
• Track social and creator trends, test new formats, and share performance learnings with the marketing team.
• Support community replies, user-generated content sourcing, creator briefs, and distribution in travel groups and forums.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience producing social or UGC-style content through brand, freelance, or personal work.
• Comfort filming yourself or others in natural creator-style formats.
• Strong short-form video editing skills with CapCut, VN, Premiere, or similar tools.
• Good design instincts and experience with Canva, Figma, or Adobe tools.
• Strong understanding of Australian audiences, travel audiences, internet culture, platform humour, and emerging trends.
• Ability to work quickly, independently, and experimentally while learning and iterating.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI creative tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Higgsfield, or Midjourney.
• Interest in travel, budgeting hacks, or fintech products.
