Manager 4, Commodity - BTS Spares and Service

Location: BangPa-in, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Thailand; onsite at BangPa-In Building 2

What you will do

• Lead BTS spares and service commodity sourcing across multiple sites and functions.
• Develop and execute category sourcing strategies focused on quality, cost, availability, and procurement KPIs.
• Manage supplier development and selection, RFx processes, dual sourcing, localization, negotiations, contracts, and supplier performance.
• Provide value engineering and sourcing solutions to internal customers while coordinating quality closure across teams.
• Assess and mitigate supply risks, lead periodic supplier performance reviews, and monitor market intelligence.
• Mentor junior buyers, guide procurement processes, and lead special projects and critical commodity initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• 6+ years of overall work experience, including 5+ years in procurement and commodity sourcing.
• More than 3 years of experience procuring machining or manufacturing parts or equipment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing, materials logistics, contract law, finance, accounting, commodity management, and industry markets.
• Strong communication skills in English and Thai are required; good command of spoken and written English is required.
• Leadership, problem-solving, analytical, presentation, project management, Microsoft Office, and ERP skills.
