Cloud Engineer (Intern) (AWS)

What you will do

• Implement cloud architectures defined by Solutions Architects across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Support customer cloud deployments within a 24x7 operational support system.
• Monitor production infrastructure during rotational shifts and improve monitoring and alerting through automation.
• Prepare and present customers' monthly operational reports.
• Use Chef, scripting languages, and open-source tools to manage infrastructure reliably.
• Maintain and improve existing enterprise infrastructure while helping identify and adopt new technologies.

Requirements

• Strong Windows and Linux systems administration skills.
• Experience or ability to migrate and architect complex multi-tier applications for private or public cloud infrastructure.
• Clear verbal and written communication for customer and internal updates, escalations, and root-cause analyses.
• Ability to communicate architecture visually to customers and internal teams.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.
• AWS Cloud Solutions Architect, RHEL, Azure, or Snowflake certifications.
• Configuration management experience with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
