Engineering Manager, Client Solutions (AI)

Location: On-site at the Cambridge, Massachusetts headquarters

Base salary: $120,000–$215,000 annually, plus commission and equity

What you will do

• Embed with customer engineering teams during critical implementations and act as a technical co-pilot.
• Participate in sprint planning, architecture reviews, and technical decision-making.
• Build custom solutions, production integrations, reusable patterns, scripts, and tools.
• Debug complex issues across customer infrastructure and the AI platform.
• Create technical demos, document best practices, and contribute to technical documentation.
• Translate executive vision into engineering roadmaps and provide field insights to guide product priorities.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a record of shipping production code.
• Fluency in multiple programming languages, including Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Go, or C#.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, microservices, cloud architecture, and modern software development practices.
• Experience with enterprise development workflows, Agile/Scrum, Jira, and enterprise software development lifecycles.
• Ability to navigate complex technical environments and explain technical concepts to stakeholders from interns to CTOs.
• Experience in high-growth startups or customer-facing engineering, preferably with AI/ML, developer tools, enterprise modernization, legacy migrations, or technical thought leadership.
