TL;DR
Technical Program Manager (Robotics): Leading planning and execution of complex humanoid robot development programs across hardware and software with an accent on scope, schedule, cost, risk management, and cross-functional coordination. Focus on integrating systems across engineering disciplines, clearing blockers, aligning distributed teams in London, Boston, and Vancouver, and scaling robotics platforms into real-world products.

Location: UK, London; on-site. Occasional later hours may be required to collaborate with teams in Boston and Vancouver time zones.

hirify.global develops commercially scalable, safe hirify.global robots, including the HMND-01 Alpha platform used in industrial pilots.

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end planning and execution for a portfolio of hardware and software projects within a robot new product introduction program.
  • Manage scope, schedule, cost, process, risks, mitigations, dependencies, and delivery blockers across multiple teams, sites, and suppliers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional work spanning systems, safety, mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, AI/ML, integration, testing, regulatory, supply chain, design, product, marketing, and logistics.
  • Build alignment, secure stakeholder commitments, and establish clear program communication across distributed teams, cultures, and time zones.
  • Apply systems thinking and technical judgment to clarify priorities and guide teams through ambiguous, fast-paced development.
  • Improve program practices and contribute directly wherever needed to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant post-graduate experience as a project or program manager leading new product development.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field relevant to robotics or engineering.
  • Technical background in complex systems integrating hardware, firmware, and software.
  • Understanding of agile software development and sequenced hardware development processes and lifecycles.
  • Proficiency with multiple program management methodologies and tools, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead through influence, communicate complex technical concepts, and remain effective under pressure with executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience in robotics, autonomous systems, or advanced hardware companies.
  • Experience in speed-focused startup environments and end-to-end integration and production lifecycles.
  • Experience with globally distributed teams.
  • Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, or production ramp environments.
