GM Nigeria (Fintech): Developing and scaling Taptap Send’s remittance partnerships, markets, and user base in Nigeria with an accent on growth strategy, P&L ownership, customer experience, and team leadership. Focus on building market-launch plans, optimizing acquisition and retention, improving profitability through data-driven experimentation, and developing relationships with diaspora communities and commercial partners.
Location: Hybrid in London, Dubai, or Lagos; preference for London or Dubai. International travel is required periodically and on an ad-hoc basis.

What you will do
- Develop the vision, strategy, and execution plan for launching and scaling sending and receiving markets in Nigeria.
- Own growth across customer acquisition and retention, pricing, user research, product quality, and customer experience.
- Take P&L ownership and deliver growth and profitability targets for the Nigerian market.
- Lead, hire, develop, and retain a high-performing team of growth managers.
- Build relationships with Nigerian diaspora communities and commercial partners to improve brand awareness and unit economics.
- Report market progress, insights, metrics, and business needs to executive leadership while collaborating with Customer Service, Finance, Tech, Legal, Financial Crime, Compliance, and People Ops.
Requirements
- Based in London, Dubai, or Lagos, with a preference for London or Dubai.
- Fluent English required; additional languages are beneficial.
- Exceptional knowledge of and networks within the Nigerian diaspora.
- Experience building, managing, and leading teams, with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills, including Excel or Google Suite; SQL, Python, and R are a plus.
- 7–15 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment such as a startup, operations, consulting, or finance, plus a bachelor’s or advanced degree.
