What you will do
- Conduct workplace safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
- Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors, recommend corrective actions, and track their completion.
- Support incident, injury, and near-miss investigations.
- Assist with environmental compliance, including waste management, spill prevention, chemical storage, pollution prevention, and sustainability initiatives.
- Maintain EHS policies, procedures, permits, SDSs, records, and performance metrics.
- Support regulatory inspections, internal audits, safety committees, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1β3 years of experience in EHS, safety coordination, or a related role preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency with EHS management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
