Site Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Location: Orangeville, Utah, United States; onsite role

Salary: $85,000–$120,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Conduct workplace safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors, recommend corrective actions, and track their completion.
• Support incident, injury, and near-miss investigations.
• Assist with environmental compliance, including waste management, spill prevention, chemical storage, pollution prevention, and sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain EHS policies, procedures, permits, SDSs, records, and performance metrics.
• Support regulatory inspections, internal audits, safety committees, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in EHS, safety coordination, or a related role preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with EHS management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
