Product and Engineering Data and Systems Specialist (PLM/ERP)

Annual salary: $160,000–$170,000 in California

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end PLM and ERP implementation projects, including process mapping, solution design, configuration, and deployment.
• Gather business requirements from Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Supply Chain, IT, and other stakeholders and translate them into scalable system solutions.
• Integrate PLM and ERP systems, map attributes and values, manage data flows, and resolve end-to-end data migration issues.
• Define and maintain part-numbering schemas, product data structures, attribute ownership, lifecycle rules, and data governance practices.
• Monitor data integrity across Arena PLM and connected systems, creating dashboards and reports to identify discrepancies and gaps.
• Develop solution documentation, process diagrams, test scripts, training materials, and ongoing user support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in PLM and ERP integration, including launching new systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Arena PLM architecture, part numbering, product data structures, and change-control workflows.
• Advanced knowledge of ERP architecture, including Oracle and NetSuite; hands-on administrative experience with Arena PLM or Oracle ERP.
• Experience with data reconciliation, reporting using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau, stakeholder communication, and independent work.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions and their impact on data and systems.
