Product Support Engineer

Location: Manchester Airport; candidates must be located in the Manchester area or willing to relocate. The role follows 12-hour shifts on a 4-on / 4-off schedule, covering 365 days including bank holidays. Occasional travel to Dublin Airport may be required.

What you will do

• Recover and investigate hardware, software, network, and ERP incidents and service requests.
• Provide support for personal computers, servers, mainframe applications, voice and data networks, and ERP systems.
• Install and upgrade PC components and software, and respond to service outages.
• Diagnose user and customer problems, provide timely resolution, and escalate issues beyond team competencies.
• Support hirify.global customers with product functionality, application, and solution-component interaction questions.
• Maintain incident updates, follow up with resolver groups and external providers, and improve knowledge solutions.

Requirements

• First experience in product engineering support.
• Experience in hardware maintenance.
• Technical and functional knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, software, and ERP systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot, identify faults, restore incidents, and communicate with users and customers.
• Self-motivation, adaptability, teamwork, flexibility, professionalism, and trustworthiness.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 4-on / 4-off schedule throughout the year, including bank holidays.

Nice to have

• Hardware maintenance experience in transport or industrial environments.
