Manager, Fulfillment & Inventory Operations (AI/Automation)

Location: New York, NY; headquartered in Denver, CO. Requires travel approximately every other month to 3PL and warehouse partner sites and on-site participation in the annual inventory cycle count. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What you will do

• Own fulfillment execution, inventory accuracy, returns, and inventory flows for Owned & Operated brands.
• Manage order processing and operational performance across 3PL partners, including SLAs, exception escalation, root-cause analysis, and structured reviews.
• Lead returns operations from inbound receipt and condition triage through disposition, vendor credits, and recommerce or resale execution.
• Partner with Planning, Finance, data engineering, analytics, and quality teams on reconciliations, audits, forecasting inputs, inspections, and operational standards.
• Build scalable reporting pipelines, operational dashboards, real-time alerts, API integrations, and workflow automations.
• Document repeatable, auditable playbooks and resolve frontline operational issues when needed.

Requirements

• Experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, e-commerce, or a related field.
• Ability to pull, manipulate, and interpret data using spreadsheets, SQL, Python, or similar tools.
• Hands-on exposure to APIs, automation tools, or scripting for operational or data problems.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with NetSuite, Shopify, and ERP, WMS, or OMS platforms.
• Experience with Make, Zapier, Prefect, Airflow, Looker, dbt, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar tools.
• Hands-on use of LLMs, AI assistants, or AI-enhanced analytics.
• Background in e-commerce, omnichannel retail, consumer goods, 3PL operations, fulfillment centers, reverse logistics, or recommerce.
