Deployment & Applications Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States; 5 days a week in the office when not actively on a deployment, with up to 75% travel to deployment sites.

Salary: $102,000–$121,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead onsite deployments of Infinite Kitchens and act as the primary onsite contact.
• Coordinate internal teams, general contractors, and external vendors during deployment projects.
• Identify risks and roadblocks, manage project execution, and improve deployment and maintenance tracking systems.
• Improve deployment processes, maintenance workflows, and technical documentation.
• Support hardware and software engineering projects in the lab by building prototypes, creating test plans, and executing product tests.
• Lead and mentor a small team of technicians.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience leading technical teams onsite in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems and their deployment in commercial environments.
• Experience with project management tools and techniques, including Jira.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external partners, reprioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, process optimization, and continuous improvement skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
