Senior Systems Validation & Integration Engineer (Modular Data Centers)

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; full-time onsite presence is required. The role includes 10% travel.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end validation of modular data center platforms across electrical, mechanical, thermal, controls, networking, compute, software, monitoring, and other subsystems.
• Define validation strategies, test plans, acceptance criteria, and system-level testing processes.
• Design, build, and scale the Houston validation lab, including test infrastructure, instrumentation, setup, and data collection.
• Coordinate integration activities across engineering, product, manufacturing, software, and operations teams.
• Validate system performance under real-world and stress conditions, diagnose integration issues, and drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain validation reports and performance data, and communicate readiness, risks, and integration milestones to leadership.

Requirements

• 7–10+ years of experience in systems integration, validation, or test engineering.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with complex multidisciplinary systems such as data centers, modular infrastructure, or industrial systems.
• Strong understanding of power systems, electrical distribution, air or liquid cooling, networking, compute infrastructure, controls systems, and monitoring platforms.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex integration issues, with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Houston and build and operate the validation lab.
