Focus on managing P&L and growth targets, building local financial and merchant partnerships, representing the company with regulators, and developing an in-market team.
Location: Uganda (Remote)

is a regulated stablecoin neobank providing stablecoin-powered financial services in emerging and frontier markets.
What you will do
- Own the P&L, growth targets, and market strategy for Uganda.
- Build and manage relationships with local partners, merchants, and financial institutions.
- Lead user acquisition, activation, and retention initiatives in the Ugandan market.
- Represent with regulators, government bodies, and industry associations.
- Recruit, manage, and develop a local team, including community ambassadors and business development staff.
- Provide market intelligence, competitive analysis, and localization recommendations to headquarters.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in country management or market leadership, ideally in fintech, payments, or financial services.
- Deep network and understanding of Uganda’s financial, technology, or startup ecosystem.
- Proven experience driving growth and managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English required.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in Luganda or another local language.
- Experience with crypto, stablecoins, or digital assets.
- Established relationships with Ugandan regulators or key industry stakeholders.
