Principal Product Manager (AI Infrastructure)

Location: Santa Clara, United States; hybrid

Salary: $200,000–$240,000 per year

What you will do

• Define and drive multi-release product strategy and roadmaps for major EXAScaler domains.
• Translate strategy into prioritized roadmaps, PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable success metrics.
• Partner with engineering leadership on architecture, investment, sequencing, reliability, and technical debt decisions.
• Represent the product with senior customers and partners through executive briefings, roadmap discussions, and joint solution planning.
• Shape competitive strategy, pricing and packaging input, win/loss analysis, and market differentiation.
• Use product analytics, customer feedback, and financial performance to guide portfolio investment trade-offs.

Requirements

• 12+ years of product management experience in infrastructure, data platforms, storage, HPC environments, or cloud services.
• Proven experience delivering production features at scale from definition through launch and iteration.
• Strong ability to write concise PRDs and user stories with clear acceptance criteria and measurable success metrics.
• Experience collaborating with sales, solutions architects, and customers on proof-of-concepts, roadmap discussions, and product escalations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with data infrastructure for AI training and inference pipelines or large-scale unstructured data environments.
• Familiarity with parallel file systems and high-performance storage architectures, including Lustre.
• Background in cloud-native architectures, microservices, containers, observability frameworks, and APIs.
• Technical depth in distributed storage, parallel file systems, AWS, Azure, GCP, or Kubernetes-based environments.
• Experience in a B2B enterprise infrastructure company or high-growth technology environment.
